Respect is an important thing throughout every part of our lives, whether in school, at home, at work or even how you treat other people. In order to get respect you need to give respect. You can’t disrespect others and think they are going to respect you. No matter who you are. The way that you live your life should be a model to others, and what you expect from them you should show them through your own actions. Respect is such a big deal, and it shows someone that you care about them and their opinions.
The easiest way to earn respect is to provide it and our 2017-18 Champions on Track are visiting their elementary and middle schools to talk to the younger students about the importance of respecting others, leading your life in a good way and treating others the way you would like to be treated.
The senior Champions of Character will challenge the students to:
R – RECOGNIZE that everyone has value.
E – Be an EXAMPLE to others.
S – Think before you SPEAK, choose your words carefully.
P – PRACTICE your good character whenever you can.
E – If we want people to trust us, we must EARN their trust and respect.
T – TREAT everyone the way you want to be treated.
Call us at Character on Track to schedule a visit from our High School Champions of Character in your area.
